Project Objectives

To Achieve and stsbsishedment School led DRRat Union level

Expected Outcomes

Outcome 1: Increased access to 17 (7 new and 10 existing) disaster resilient schools that are resistant and equipped against floods and fire hazards for 7140 (New 3417 , 2nd phase 1,723 and 1st phase 1,700 ) students in Gaibandha. Outcome 2: Improved inclusive environment for 3,363 students in 7 schools of Gaibandha district Outcome 3: Increased awareness and knowledge among 3,363 students, 129 teachers and 17 communities in 17 schools on risk reduction and resilience. Outcome 4: Improved disaster preparedness and response capacities of 05 local disaster management committees in Sundarganj Upazila of Gaibandha District. Outcome 5: Advocate and System Strengthen District Disaster Management Committee.
